Hi, I’m Ali

So a little about me…

I worked in the city for many years before deciding I couldn’t see myself sitting at a desk for the rest of my days. I retrained as a personal trainer and I now truly love my job and have never looked back. I didn’t realise how rewarding it could be until I got started. One of the favourite parts of my job is seeing clients hit their goals and their confidence grow. You can see it in the way they dress, hold themselves and even smile! I’ve seen people who were living very sedentary lives, start sleeping better, having more energy through the day for work, family and their kids. People who have lived with niggling injuries such as lower back pain, shoulder pain start living pain free. Plus clients who were taking various drugs to control cholesterol, high blood pressure etc. completely come off the drugs through eating well and exercising. Just a few of the reasons I don’t mind going to work every day.

Outside of work, my sports and hobbies are rowing and running. I row for a club in north London and when it’s not snowing or I’m being shouted at by our coach I love it! It’s a very competitive sport that requires us to train hard. And so far the training is paying off =)

I’m not a city girl as I grew up in Cornwall, so any chance I have I will get back to see the sea and a bit of greenery. I think this is one of the reasons I row as I love being out on the water.
